O Perfume
O que sou eu? - O Perfume,
Dizem os homens. - Serei.
Mas o que sou nem eu sei...
Sou uma sombra de lume!
Rasgo a aragem como um gume
De espada: Subi. Voei.
Onde passava, deixei
A essência que me resume.
Liberdade, eu me cativo:
Numa renda, um nada, eu vivo
Vida de Sonho e Verdade!
Passam os dias, e em vão!
- Eu sou a Recordação;
Sou mais, ainda: a Saudade.

Contrição
Eu não te mereci. Eras bela e eras pura.
Havia na tua alma um secreto esplendor,
Misto de suavidade, emoção e ternura.
E essa luz era o amor!
Um dia, meigamente, amada peregrina,
Vieste pousar, sorrindo, o teu olhar no meu.

Let Myself Go'
It's been a long road as long road's go
Up n' down the ebb n' flow
I ain't the wiser with all that I know
N' trouble's knocking, stealin' the show
I've let myself go... I've let myself down
The harder we roll the deeper the flesh wound
You don't want to know, it's tell and no show
I've let myself go...
Been one of those days, counting the crows
Screamin' the blues, airing old sorrows
Now I look back, too high to be low
The wherewithall left me a long time ago
I've let myself go... I've let myself down
Lost it forever and I'm gone to ground
You wouldn't believe the worry and woe
I've let myself go...
So don't sit beside me cos I ain't here
I'm somewhere out there, God knows where
Don't make the bed cos I ain't gonna sleep
Beat myself to hell turning yesterday's cheek
I said yes when I shoulda said no
I’ve let myself go...
So don't sit beside me cos I ain't here
I'm somewhere out there, God knows where
Don't make the bed cos I ain't gonna sleep
Beat myself to hell turning yesterday's cheek
I said yes when I shoulda said no
I’ve let myself go, let myself go…
It's no good wishin' for silver n' gold
Hold on to the love, gonna be your stronghold
I should know and you know that I know
A heart don't get weary no matter how old
I've let myself go… let myself down
Too hard to handle, now you don't want me around
But that's ok, I can live it up solo
I've let myself go, let myself go…
I let myself go on the open road
Yeah I let myself go, yeah I let myself go
And I’ll live it up solo, ahh yeah…
